Village Dental was founded by veterans who believe service does not end with the uniform. Built on the same values learned through military service—commitment, discipline, integrity, and care for others—our practice exists to serve patients with honesty and excellence. From the beginning, Village Dental has been proudly veteran owned and operated, led by doctors who served our country and continue that service every day by providing trusted, high-quality dental care to The Villages community.

The members of our armed forces, both past and present, constitute the ultimate example of dedication, service and sacrifice. Village Dental salutes our fellow veterans and staff who have served nobly to protect our freedom and way of life.

Edward J. Farrell, DMD, MAGD, AFAAID

Oral surgery externship at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA
Stationed three years at Parris Island Marine Corps Naval Dental Clinic in Beaufort, SC
Practiced dental medicine with rotations in restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, periodontal, oral surgery and pathology departments
Performed rotations at the Beaufort Naval Hospital Oral surgery department and Beaufort Naval Air Station
After active duty, assigned to Navy Reserves MASH unit in Orlando for two years

Richard P. Hall II, DMD, MAGD, AFAAID (Retired from Village Dental in 2025)

College ROTC/Battalion Commander
Five years active duty: Stationed three years in Hanau, Germany, and two years at Ft. Rucker, AL
Deployed to Desert Storm/Shield as 3rd Armor Division dental surgeon
Involved in post-war humanitarian efforts in Iraq
Practiced dental medicine with rotations in restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, periodontal, oral surgery and pathology departments
Received Bronze Star, Airborne Wings, Air Assault Wings, Expert Field Medical Badge

Michael Hards, DMD, MAGD, AFAAID (Retired from Village Dental in 2022)

Stationed three years at the Naval Recruit Training Center in Orlando, FL
Practiced prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery and oral pathology at Recruit Dental Clinic, Staff Dental Clinic and Clinic for Underwater Testing at Andros Island
After active duty, assigned to Navy Reserves MASH unit in Orlando for two years
