Dental Assistant  –  Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare to patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Perform chairside assisting for a variety of dental procedures
• Take and record vital signs of patients
• Utilize Dentrix software for patient charting and scheduling
• Capture and develop dental X-rays
• Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
• Assist with prosthodontics procedures
• Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• Support general dentistry practices
• Operate and maintain dental equipment and systems

Skills

• Proficient in chairside assisting techniques
• Familiarity with Dentrix software for patient management
• Competent in capturing and developing dental X-rays
• Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
• Experience in prosthodontics assistance is a plus
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques for infection control
• Ability to support various general dentistry procedures
